BASF, Ludwigshafen
|
BASF is the leading chemicals company in the world. Around 97,000 staff support customers in almost every country in the world with intelligent system solutions and top quality products.
BASF in Ludwigshafen tasked FRITZ & MACZIOL with realising a central, Concernwide system solution to comply with the electronic waste management legislation for dangerous waste, which is mandatory from 2010. The site has a comprehensive role in the special waste field as a waste producer, disposer and service provider in the Ludwigshafen industrial estate. As the largest site within the BASF Group, Ludwigshafen will implement the pilot start. After successful realisation, expansion will be effected to all BASF locations in Germany. In Ludwigshafen, BASF is getting its own eANVportal®, the eANVmyportal®. The internal Concern provider BASF SE will use the complete scope of eANVmyportal® and, thus, will map the whole flow of the disposal processes. Integration into the waste management systems used by the Concern is planned in a later step. Complete eANVportal® functionality can be used with the eANVmyportal® solution.
The particular advantage of the web-based software solution is that data can be managed in the company's own IT environment. |
