LAP release roll-out facilitates central data management

The tested standard software LAP (lab evaluation and production data administration) for data management, the smooth capture of process data and their rapid evaluation, offers additional trend functionalities in the new version. These include a multi-language capability, centralised (sample) document management, simple management of several locations/clients and user-specific, graphic reports. With the sample document administration, it is now possible to handle large amounts of information easily and to access individual sample documents and document groups directly on the LAP database. The new release is already in use at seven locations across Germany at long-term LAP customer Schwenk Putztechnik GmbH & Co KG, to simplify internal processes and, in so doing, to reduce operating costs. The former, laborious and decentralised administration and data management and unclear quality features at the different locations, required manual and, thus, protracted evaluations and quality controls. Simpler administration through central data management has now been achieved with the new release roll-out. At the heart of the change were fast, user-specific, graphic evaluations with automatic monitoring of quality specifications and simple definition and monitoring of work processes, reminders and sample withdrawal plans.
