Microsoft Dynamics NAV Prepares Company Process Data Reliably

ms | metalle from Weißenhorn in Bavaria-Schwabia has specialised in the valuation, preparation and disposal of precious metals and waste and materials with precious-metal content. FRITZ & MACZIOL : INFOMA® developed a concept for the move to the new ERP business solution, which uses Microsoft Dynamics NAV as the central system for all relevant business processes.

In use since May 2008, ms | metalle is already benefiting from the solutions considerable advantage: order processing is much simpler and the integrated bookkeeping means that the formerly problematic data exchange by interface is a thing of the past. The company has been particularly impressed by the integration of the telephone system into Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which was effected in cooperation with datac Kommunikationssysteme GmbH.

The NAV industry solution, CTI Computer Telephony Integration, provides clear communication for the 20 staff at ms | metalle. Additional measures to be realised shortly include introduction of Outlook synchronisation, reports for evaluation and the implementation of a commissions model. Further adjustments and expansions are planned to develop the solution into a strategic universal platform. The basis for this is formed by the previously achieved traceable processes and results in order completion.
